Hulu now streams movies. If you’re unemployed and don’t have cable…this might be a nice solution for those times when you need some amusement.

You can also hook up your TV to your laptop. I found the easiest way is to get a VGA cable (bought at Fry’s Electronics for $5) and connect it to my LCD TV. Connecting the laptop and TV this way requires you to hook up external speakers to your laptop if you want audio. This article has alternative options for hooking up a computer and a TV.
